For anyone still in the dark about this young man, he was a homeschooled athlete from a Christian missionary family. He was part of 2 national championships and won the Heisman Trophy while at the University of Florida. He is considered one of the all-time greats in the college game. There were countless other awards, his famous speech following the Ole Miss loss, summer missionary work in the Phillipines, Bible verses on his eyeblack, etc.

Although Tebow played for a rival SEC college, I still had the upmost respect for him. My alma mater, Auburn, did beat him the only 2 times they played him though ;)
The most impressive thing about Tim Tebow isn't his accomplishments and feats on the field. It is how he has lived his faith out loud and is not fearful to talk about his Christianity in this secular world. Even though many in the media would prefer he check his belief system at the door, he has stayed true to his belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
The NFL needs more players like this young man.
