Music, and movies, and books! Oh, my!

These three things have been a huuuuge part of my life.

Music. Music is the language of the soul. I'm addicted to music such that I get like "sick E.T." if I don't get my daily fix. I am in a constant state of walking around with a song in my head or on my heart. My tastes are spread far and wide and I'm constantly on the listen for something new for the iPod. Rock, Pop, R&B, Reggae, Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Classical, Christian, Liturgical music, film scores...yes, even showtunes.

Movies. I'm a film junkie too. Birthdays were spent at the movies and in a family with 25+ cousins, a lot of time was spent at the theaters. There's a movie for every mood you're in. It better have a good score or soundtrack though.

Books. It started with my Dad reading my older brother and I The Hardy Boys books at bedtime. A large part of my childhood was spent reading comic books. Once I received a library card, the world was mine.

I think the only thing I love more than music, movies and books is sharing and discussing them with other people. I'm going to start posting my particular faves....the hardest part will be deciding which song/movie/book to start with.
