My church celebrated the start of a new year of religious education and youth ministry by holding a free concert tonight. I'm glad I attended. Catholic musicians Josh Blakesley, Cooper Ray, and Grae McCullough, who are on their Fall Faith Tour sharing their faith and music across the southeast, were the featured performers. Of the three, I was only familiar with Josh Blakesley because of the song "Come to Jesus" (http://www.spiritandsong.com/compositions/75982). They all did a fantastic job.
We need more of this.....more strong Catholic role models leading Jesus-centered lives, sharing their music, and reaching out to the the teenagers with this message of faith, hope, and love.
