We held the dedication ceremony this past Saturday for the second Habitat house I worked on. This house is just three streets from the first build. Habitat also owns the lot right next to this one and is just waiting on a sponsor to break ground. Amazing stuff to see first hand God's work being done.
I also received 2 golden hammer lapel pins. You get one for every build you work on and I was given two since I wasn't present to receive one for my first build. The boy scout in me is thrilled to once again have the opportunity to earn a "badge" for something. Pretty cool. They need to start giving me pins for each time I hit my thumb with a hammer though.
