Epic Song - "Alive Again" by Matt Maher

It was very difficult to pick just one track from this album to highlight. Each day I have a new favorite which I can't stop jamming to in my head. "Flesh and Bone", "Remembrance (Communion Song)", and "Christ is Risen" currently get extra plays.

I went with the title track, "Alive Again", which is about waking up to the awesome reality that God desperately wants you to die to sin and live instead in Him. The song starts out slow and then really amps up once Matt hits the chorus. It fills you with the desire to climb to the tallest rooftops and shout out the Good News to everyone (which is probably the mildest reaction one should have to a love of this magnitude). I bolded my favorite part of the lyrics below. What can one say back to such a perfect love? I think all poetic sentiment and wit would leave me and I too would blurt out uncoolly, "I love you and I LOVE YOU!!!"
