Pray for the Williams family

I missed the Season Finale of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition last night, but thankfully was able to watch it on HULU this morning. The show's producers pulled out all the stops for this episode and brought in lots of celebrities and sports figures to contribute. What made this episode special was that one of my cousins knew the family being helped.

The Williams family story is a compelling one. The Pine Mountain, Georgia family consists of Jeremy, the head football coach at Greenville High, his wife Jennifer, and their daughter Josie and son Jacob. Jacob was born with Spina Bifida and is paralyzed from the waist down, yet is blessed with the most positive and outgoing personality. Two years ago, Jeremy was diagnosed with the terminal illness of Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Amidst all of this horrible misfortune though, they have relied on God's strength to see them through. What amazing people!

May God bless and keep them!
