My Computer - The Bane of my Existence!

So I'm having computer troubles...AGAIN! The lifelong love/hate relationship (mostly hate) I have with the computing persuasion rages on.

It reminds me of a quote:

"Being Irish, he had an abiding sense of tragedy, which sustained him through temporary periods of joy." - William Butler Yeats

So, paraphrasing: "Being Mike's computer, it had an abiding sense of failure, which sustained it through temporary periods of function."

As anyone with a computer knows, most times when something goes wrong it can be any of a massive number of things. It is exhausting and expensive to figure out exactly what is wrong. For instance, my current problem is that my computer is just shutting off not long after booting up. It could be the power supply. It could be a virus. It could be that one of my fans isn't working and a component inside is overheating and forcing a shutdown. It could be (and probably is) something I haven't even considered yet. Oh Joy!

I'm currently typing on my folk's computer, which is my old computer that I deemed too slow and buggy. So my dinosaur ex-computer is now more reliable than my current one...that's where we're at.
